How do Vendors Obtain Bid Invitations?
A complete listing of bid opportunities including terms, conditions and specifications, is available through IllinoisBID on the Illinois Procurement Bulletin. To become an IllinoisBID subscriber, which allows you to download and print the entire bid document and receive automatic e-mail notification of bids, go to Illinois Procurement Bulletin, Supplies and Services Edition, which should answer any questions you may have.
What are the Delivery Requirements?
Statewide deliveries are required unless specified otherwise in the IFB. Bids should be carefully reviewed for specific delivery requirements.
How do Vendors Submit a Bid?
All Bids should be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the IFB number and bid opening date and time. Refer to Frequently Asked Question - Responding to Bids for more information regarding submitting bids.
How do Vendors Submit a Bid?
Vendors should have a completed Bidder's Application Form [PDF, 286KB]  on file with BOSSAP. (If they have 15 or more employees, they should also have completed an Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) Employers Report Form [PDF, 994KB] and received an IDHR number.) It is the responsibility of the vendor to file the forms prior to the bid opening. Refer to Frequently Asked Questions - Doing Business in Illinois for details regarding qualification procedures.
